Pals looking for forever homes
Please take a moment to read each dog’s profile carefully.
We’re all about matching the right home to the right pup, so we can only consider applications that meet the specific needs listed.
We’re based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire — so a visit is required before any adoption can go ahead.
Our standard adoption fee is £300. This may vary in special cases, but £300 is the usual.
Thanks for being part of this journey. Let’s find these dogs the loving homes they deserve — one happy tail at a time. 🐾
Otis
Meet Otis!
🐾 Age: 2 Years
🐾 Breed: Boxer/Staffie Cross
🐾 Needs: Experienced home, no other pets
Otis has had a rough start, but he's not given up—and neither have we. Passed to us by the council, Otis had been left in a yard day and night, completely isolated from the world. The scars on his nose suggest he was used as a bait dog, but his spirit is still strong.
Since joining the Pabs & Pals family, Otis has gone from a malnourished 20kg to a strong, healthy 40kg. He’s learning what love and kindness feel like—and it’s been amazing to watch him grow.
🌟 Otis’ Journey:
-
Zero human aggression: Despite his past, he’s shown nothing but love for people.
-
Still learning: He’s come a long way with lead training but still needs support.
-
Big dog, big heart: Needs someone confident with large, reactive dogs.
-
Solo star: Must be the only dog in the home—his background makes dog interactions very difficult.
-
For the right person: If you’re ready for a challenge with huge rewards, Otis will give you everything he's got.
Otis deserves a second chance—and the right person will see what an incredible, loving companion he can be. If you’ve got the experience and heart to take on this journey, apply below.

Gemma & Gina
Meet Gina & Gemma 🐾
6-year-old Border Collie sisters
Gina and Gemma have had a lovely life so far, but due to their owner’s unfortunate circumstances, they’ve found themselves in rescue with us at Pabs and Pals.
These two beautiful girls have been together since birth, and as a bonded pair, they must be rehomed together. They’ve never known life apart—and we’re not about to change that now.
Both girls are gentle, affectionate, and incredibly loyal once they know you. They can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once they feel safe, you’ll have double the love coming your way.
🌟 Why Gina & Gemma Are So Special:
-
Bonded sisters from the same litter
-
Both spayed and in excellent health
-
Gentle souls who just need time to warm up
-
Thrive in active homes—ideal for walk-loving families
-
Pub stops and beach strolls? They’re all in 🐶🍻🌊
They look out for each other in everything they do. Now they just need a family who’ll look out for them too.
Apply now to welcome these wonderful girls into your home!
Latte
Meet Latte 🐾
1-year-old Belgian Malinois
If you’ve been following the Pabs and Pals journey, you might remember Latte and her sister Mocha arriving around three months ago. Since then, Gwen—our resident Mali lover—has been working closely with them both. Mocha still needs a bit more time, but Latte? She’s ready.
Latte is a stunning 1-year-old Malinois with all the classic traits of the breed—smart, driven, and always switched on. She walks beautifully on lead and thrives when given structure and purpose.
🌟 What Latte Needs:
-
An active home with experience of Malis or similar breeds
-
A job to do—she’s highly intelligent and needs mental stimulation
-
To be the only pet due to her high prey drive
-
A secure garden and daily exercise to keep her balanced
Latte isn’t your average pet—she’s a working dog at heart. But in the right hands, she’ll be the most loyal, focused, and rewarding companion you could ask for.
If you’re looking for a dog with drive, brains, and the potential to be absolutely brilliant, Latte is waiting for you.

Lizzie
Remember Lizzie?
Through absolutely no fault of her own, she’s back with Pabs and Pals due to personal circumstances in her adoptive family. She was never going anywhere else - if she needed a safety net, it was always us.
🐾 Approx 2 years
🐾 Saluki
🐾 Back up for adoption
Lizzie first came to us after being cast aside for not being “good enough” at the job she was bred for. Since then she’s shown us exactly who she is - soft, affectionate and happiest when she’s close to her people.
She’s wonderful with other dogs and would happily live with a calm, friendly companion. She loves a good sprint when the mood takes her, but she’s just as content curled up on the sofa.
Lizzie would suit a peaceful home with a secure garden and a family who can offer her the stability she deserves.
This time, we really want it to be forever. 💛
Beryl
Meet Beryl - 3 Year Old English Bulldog
Beryl is a beautiful blue tri English Bulldog with the sweetest little face and the typical chunky bulldog build. She has the most gentle, calm nature and quickly melts hearts once you meet her.
She can be a little nervous when first meeting new people, but it really doesn’t take long for her to settle. Once she knows you, she’s incredibly affectionate and loves being close to her humans.
Beryl is great with other dogs and may actually thrive in a home with a calm canine companion to help her feel settled and confident.
Like most bulldogs, Beryl enjoys the simple life:
-
Short, relaxed walks
-
Plenty of sofa time
-
Lots of cuddles and fuss
-
Being close to her people
She’s a very easy-going girl who would suit a home looking for a chilled companion rather than a high-energy dog.
Beryl has so much love to give and we can’t wait to find the perfect forever home for her 💚
If you think Beryl could be the one for you, please apply

Delilah
Meet Delilah 🐾
3-year-old Akita | Female
Delilah is a truly stunning Akita with a calm, gentle nature to match her looks.
She’s shown no aggression at all during her time with us and has been a pleasure to care for. She does enjoy the company of other dogs, however we feel she would benefit most from being rehomed as an only pet, allowing her to continue developing at her own pace and really bond with her people.
Delilah would suit an active home that enjoys regular walks and time outdoors. Experience with Akitas (or similar large, independent breeds) would be a huge plus, as she’ll thrive with someone who understands the breed and can offer confident, consistent guidance.
She’s intelligent, affectionate in her own way, and incredibly striking – her colouring and presence really do turn heads. Delilah is ready to find a home that can offer her time, structure, and the commitment she deserves.
