We’re based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire — so a visit is required before any adoption can go ahead.
Our standard adoption fee is £300. This may vary in special cases, but £300 is the usual.

Latte
Meet Latte 🐾
2-year-old Belgian Malinois
Latte is officially ready to find her forever home! ❤️
She’s a stunning Belgian Malinois with all the classic traits of the breed - incredibly intelligent, driven, loyal and always switched on. She walks good on lead and absolutely thrives when given structure, stimulation and something to focus on.
🌟 What Latte Needs:

An active, experienced home - ideally with experience of Malis or similar working breeds

Plenty of mental stimulation as well as physical exercise

A secure garden and someone who understands the needs of a working breed

An owner who wants a dog they can really work and build a bond with
Latte has shown no aggression towards other larger animals and has been around dogs, horses and even cats without issue. However, like many Malinois, she does have a natural prey drive towards smaller animals such as rodents, so this would need to be taken into consideration.
Latte isn’t a dog who will be happy doing nothing all day. She needs purpose, structure and someone willing to keep that brilliant brain busy.
In the right hands, she has the potential to be an absolutely incredible companion. ❤️

Dolly
Pocket Bully | 2 Years Old | Female
Dolly is a stunning young girl who deserves a fresh start after being found abandoned underneath a motorway bridge.
We don't know exactly what Dolly has been through, but it's clear that she's struggling with the world around her. When she's out in busy environments, she can become overwhelmed and panic, so finding the right home for her is incredibly important.
Dolly needs a very quiet, calm home where she can finally feel safe and settle at her own pace.
We believe Dolly has the potential to become a much more confident and sociable girl, but until she's had the opportunity to settle into a proper home environment, we simply won't know how much she can progress.

A very quiet, calm and stable home
No children or other pets
A patient, understanding owner
Time to settle and build confidence without pressure
Peaceful surroundings away from busy environments
Someone willing to help her develop at her own pace
We would also happily consider a temporary foster home for Dolly.
Getting her out of kennels and into a peaceful home environment would give us a much better understanding of her personality and help us see how she progresses once she feels safe.
Dolly may well turn out to be an incredibly sociable, confident girl. She just hasn't had the opportunity to show us that side of her yet.

Winnie & Bentley
English Bulldogs | 3 Years Old | Brother & Sister
Winnie and Bentley are two beautiful English Bulldogs who have come to Pabs and Pals through absolutely no fault of their own.
These two have been incredibly loved, but sadly, due to their owner's deteriorating health, the heartbreaking decision was made to find them a new home.
They've grown up together and are used to family life. They're also familiar with other dogs and have been well cared for throughout their lives.
We're looking for a quiet, stable home where they can settle into a good routine and thrive.

Koda
Pocket Bully | Approx. 2–3 Years Old | Male
Koda is a gorgeous little Pocket Bully with so much potential, but he's going to need a special kind of home to help him reach it.
Koda came to us through the dog warden after being found abandoned. Unfortunately, we don't know exactly what he's been through, but it's clear he's a nervous lad who needs time to build trust with new people.
He's incredibly food motivated and already knows a few tricks! If there are treats involved, he's more than happy to show you what he can do and learn something new.
However, we want to be completely upfront. Koda isn't a dog who will instantly settle into a busy family home. He needs patience, understanding and someone willing to let him build confidence at his own pace.
We would expect potential adopters to visit Koda several times before taking him home, allowing him to become familiar with them and build that all-important trust.

A home with minimal visitors, particularly during his first few months

He's already shown us how clever and willing to learn he can be. Now he needs a person who can help him feel safe enough to show the rest of his personality.

Ebony
Labrador x Lurcher (possibly German Shepherd) | 9–10 Months Old | Female
Ebony is a stunning young girl with an absolutely fantastic temperament who is now ready to find her forever home!
At just 9–10 months old, Ebony is still very much a puppy with plenty of energy, enthusiasm and lots to learn. She's incredibly friendly, loves being around people and has been brilliant with other dogs.
We've been spending time with Ebony alongside Ziggy, and these two have practically become brother and sister! They get on brilliantly, and it's lovely seeing them enjoy each other's company.
Ebony is a clever young girl with bags of potential. We believe she'll thrive in an active home where she can enjoy plenty of exercise, mental stimulation and continued training.
We're also more than happy for Ebony to live with another suitable dog. In fact, we think having a well-balanced canine companion could really help her learn and develop.

Ziggy
Labrador x Lurcher | 1 Year Old | Male
Ziggy has just turned one and is now ready to find the family who can give him the fresh start he deserves.
He’s a super friendly, happy young lad who loves being around people and is comfortable around other dogs too. Being only a year old, he still has plenty to learn, but the good news is Ziggy is incredibly willing to please and very trainable.
With some consistency, structure and continued training, we have no doubt he’ll develop into a fantastic family dog and form an incredibly strong bond with his new person.

Dora
Breed: Presa Canario
Age: 1 Year
Sex: Female
Dora is a beautiful young girl who has recently come into our care. After checking her microchip, we discovered she's actually just turned 1!
Being a Presa Canario, Dora is going to be a BIG girl! In fact, she should already be bigger than she is, but we believe her difficult start in life, including malnourishment and suspected mistreatment, may have affected her development.
Despite everything, Dora has a lovely nature and is already showing us what a fantastic dog she can be.
She's still young, with plenty to learn, but she's making brilliant progress!
What we're looking for:
Dora needs a home with someone who has experience handling large, powerful breeds and understands the importance of training, structure and clear boundaries.
She's a lovely girl, but as she continues to grow, it's important that her new owners are confident and committed to guiding her in the right direction.
With the right training, patience and consistency, we genuinely believe Dora will grow into an incredible companion.
Dora has so much potential. She just needs someone willing to put in the time to help her reach it. ❤️
Frank
Frank is a lovely 3-year-old British Bulldog who has come a long way since arriving at Pabs and Pals.
When Frank first came to us, he weighed 45kg and needed to lose quite a bit of weight. We're delighted to say he's now at a very healthy weight and looking fantastic!
However, we want to be completely honest about Frank's rehoming journey.
In his new homes, Frank struggled to settle and displayed some unwanted behaviours, including humping, which understandably made his new owners uncomfortable.
During his most recent adoption, Frank was returned to us within just 24 hours. Unfortunately, that's nowhere near enough time for a dog to adjust to completely new surroundings, people and routines.
The frustrating part is that Frank is absolutely fine here with us. We know what a lovely lad he can be, but he needs someone who understands Bulldogs and is prepared to work through that initial settling-in period.
Frank can be stubborn and will need clear boundaries, consistency and someone confident enough to guide him. He's not a dog who should be expected to walk into a new home and behave perfectly from day one.

He's a lovely boy who has already made fantastic progress with us. We just need to find someone who understands that taking on a rescue dog means giving them time, patience and a genuine opportunity to adjust.
At just three years old, Frank has so much life ahead of him. He deserves a family who will work with him through the settling-in period rather than expecting everything to be perfect straight away.
Please only apply if you have Bulldog experience and are fully committed to giving Frank the time and guidance he needs.
Conker
Patterdale Terrier | Around 5 Years Old | Male
Conker is a lovely little Patterdale who came to Pabs and Pals after being picked up as a stray by the local dog warden.
Unfortunately, Conker wasn't microchipped, so we have no information about his past or where he's come from. What we do know is that he's an absolutely lovely lad who deserves a fresh start!
Since arriving with us, Conker has shown himself to be a typical Patterdale. He's full of character, super friendly and absolutely loves being around people.
He's also been great around other dogs. He doesn't seem particularly bothered by them and is quite happy doing his own thing!
