Pals looking for forever homes
Please take a moment to read each dog’s profile carefully.
We’re all about matching the right home to the right pup, so we can only consider applications that meet the specific needs listed.
We’re based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire — so a visit is required before any adoption can go ahead.
Our standard adoption fee is £300. This may vary in special cases, but £300 is the usual.
Thanks for being part of this journey. Let’s find these dogs the loving homes they deserve — one happy tail at a time. 🐾
Otis
Meet Otis!
🐾 Age: 2 Years
🐾 Breed: Boxer/Staffie Cross
🐾 Needs: Experienced home, no other pets
Otis has had a rough start, but he's not given up—and neither have we. Passed to us by the council, Otis had been left in a yard day and night, completely isolated from the world. The scars on his nose suggest he was used as a bait dog, but his spirit is still strong.
Since joining the Pabs & Pals family, Otis has gone from a malnourished 20kg to a strong, healthy 40kg. He’s learning what love and kindness feel like—and it’s been amazing to watch him grow.
🌟 Otis’ Journey:
-
Zero human aggression: Despite his past, he’s shown nothing but love for people.
-
Still learning: He’s come a long way with lead training but still needs support.
-
Big dog, big heart: Needs someone confident with large, reactive dogs.
-
Solo star: Must be the only dog in the home—his background makes dog interactions very difficult.
-
For the right person: If you’re ready for a challenge with huge rewards, Otis will give you everything he's got.
Otis deserves a second chance—and the right person will see what an incredible, loving companion he can be. If you’ve got the experience and heart to take on this journey, apply below.

Gemma & Gina
Meet Gina & Gemma 🐾
6-year-old Border Collie sisters
Gina and Gemma have had a lovely life so far, but due to their owner’s unfortunate circumstances, they’ve found themselves in rescue with us at Pabs and Pals.
These two beautiful girls have been together since birth, and as a bonded pair, they must be rehomed together. They’ve never known life apart—and we’re not about to change that now.
Both girls are gentle, affectionate, and incredibly loyal once they know you. They can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once they feel safe, you’ll have double the love coming your way.
🌟 Why Gina & Gemma Are So Special:
-
Bonded sisters from the same litter
-
Both spayed and in excellent health
-
Gentle souls who just need time to warm up
-
Thrive in active homes—ideal for walk-loving families
-
Pub stops and beach strolls? They’re all in 🐶🍻🌊
They look out for each other in everything they do. Now they just need a family who’ll look out for them too.
Apply now to welcome these wonderful girls into your home!
Latte
Meet Latte 🐾
1-year-old Belgian Malinois
If you’ve been following the Pabs and Pals journey, you might remember Latte and her sister Mocha arriving around three months ago. Since then, Gwen—our resident Mali lover—has been working closely with them both. Mocha still needs a bit more time, but Latte? She’s ready.
Latte is a stunning 1-year-old Malinois with all the classic traits of the breed—smart, driven, and always switched on. She walks beautifully on lead and thrives when given structure and purpose.
🌟 What Latte Needs:
-
An active home with experience of Malis or similar breeds
-
A job to do—she’s highly intelligent and needs mental stimulation
-
To be the only pet due to her high prey drive
-
A secure garden and daily exercise to keep her balanced
Latte isn’t your average pet—she’s a working dog at heart. But in the right hands, she’ll be the most loyal, focused, and rewarding companion you could ask for.
If you’re looking for a dog with drive, brains, and the potential to be absolutely brilliant, Latte is waiting for you.

Benny
Meet Benny 🐾
Ginger Rottweiler Cross | 18 Months Old | Neutered
Benny is a gorgeous young lad who’s spent most of his life in rescue – but now it’s time for his next chapter. At just 18 months old, he’s a big puppy full of energy, love, and potential.
He’s super friendly with people and loves a fuss, but he needs a confident, experienced owner who can give him structure and continue his training.
We’re working on his lead manners and he's improving every day.
Benny would thrive in an only-pet household with no small children, purely due to his size and bouncy nature. He needs a calm home where he can learn, grow, and be guided into becoming the brilliant dog we know he can be.
If you’ve got the time, experience, and love to give – Benny’s waiting to meet you 💛
Paris
Meet Paris 🐾
5-Year-Old Brindle French Bulldog x English Bulldog | Female
Paris has come to Pabs and Pals after her owner’s health sadly declined, and he made the responsible decision to let her go somewhere she could be properly cared for.
She has clearly been loved, and now she’s ready for her new chapter.
Paris is a sweet, chilled girl who loves human company. She came in with Pearl, but after observing them together, we feel they’d both thrive best being rehomed separately — especially around food, where they can get a bit competitive.
One lovely thing about Paris is that she responds well to hand signals. Her previous owner was deaf, so she’s used to visual cues and picks them up brilliantly.
✔️ Knows basic sign commands
✔️ Very chilled nature
✔️ Loves people
❌ Only Dog Household
🏡 Ideal for a relaxed, calm home
If you’re after a laid-back companion with plenty of love to give, Paris might be your perfect match.
Apply today to meet her.

Pearl
Meet Pearl 🤍
6-Year-Old British Bulldog | Female
Pearl arrived with Paris after their owner’s declining health meant he could no longer look after them. He clearly cared deeply for them, and now it’s our turn to help Pearl find the peaceful forever home she deserves.
She’s a calm, gentle girl who’s brilliant with people and loves affection. Like Paris, she responds well to hand signals thanks to being raised in a home with a deaf owner — a lovely skill that makes training her even easier.
Although Pearl came in with Paris, they tend to fall out around food, so we believe they’ll be much happier rehomed separately, where they can enjoy one-to-one attention.
✔️ Knows hand signal commands
✔️ Soft, chilled temperament
✔️ People-loving girl
❌ Only Dog Household
🏡 Perfect for a quiet, relaxed home
Pearl is ready to settle into a home where she can enjoy gentle walks, cuddles, and a calm routine.
Apply today to welcome this lovely girl into your life.
Lizzie
Meet Lizzie – A Gentle Soul with a Sprint in Her Step
🐾 Age: Approx 2 Years
🐾 Breed: Saluki
🐾 Status: Ready for Adoption
Lizzie was left behind after not being “good enough” for the job she was bred for – but that’s their loss. She’s now healthy, safe, and ready to find the forever home she deserves.
Despite her past, Lizzie is as soft and affectionate as they come. She’s great with other dogs and would happily share her space with a friendly companion.
🌟 Why Lizzie Could Be Your Perfect Match:
-
Friendly with other dogs
-
Loves a good run but equally loves a chill on the sofa
-
Calm, kind, and easy-going
-
Would suit a peaceful home where she can continue to build confidence
She’s not a hunter – she’s a homebody at heart. A garden to zoom in, a sofa to snooze on, and a family to love her – that’s all she’s looking for.
If you’ve got a quiet home and a kind heart, Lizzie might just be your girl.

Jack
Meet Jack 🐾
Saluki | 18 Months Old | Male
Jack’s story is sadly all too familiar – just like Lizzie, he was abandoned when it turned out he wasn’t cut out for hunting. But what he is perfect for... is being someone’s best mate.
He’s a gentle, calm soul who’s shown nothing but kindness to everyone he’s met. No aggression, no drama – just a sweet-natured lad who enjoys a walk, then a cuddle and chill.
Jack’s ready for the good life now – one filled with soft beds, loving people, and steady routines.
If you’re looking for a gentle companion with a heart of gold, Jack could be the one.
Peanut
Meet Peanut 🐾
Husky/Lab Mix | 10 Months Old | Male
Peanut is a bright, fun-loving pup with a heart full of energy and a head full of potential. At just 10 months old, he’s already showing what an eager-to-please, clever boy he is.
He’s thriving on his new training plan – his lead work is improving every day, and he loves having something to focus on. Walks, playtime, and learning new things are his favourite kind of day – closely followed by a cuddle on the sofa.
Peanut would suit an active home where he can get regular exercise and mental stimulation. He’ll need to be the only dog, so he gets the attention and guidance he deserves.
If you’re looking for a loyal, trainable companion to join you on adventures – Peanut’s your lad.

Buddy
Meet Buddy 🐾
Lab x Staffy | 8 Years Old | Male
Buddy found his way to us through no fault of his own – his elderly owner could no longer care for him due to declining health, and made the selfless decision to help him find a new forever home.
This lad might be 8, but he’s still full of beans and has so much more love to give. He’s polite, clean, loves his walks, and would be just as happy snoozing on the sofa beside you.
Buddy doesn’t belong in kennels – he’s a well-mannered, loving dog who deserves a comfy home and a family to call his own.
He loves being around children :-D
If you can give this golden boy a fresh start, please get in touch.
Peggy
Meet Peggy 🐾
British Bulldog | 5 Years Old | Female
Peggy is full of character – she’s outgoing, lively, and loves her walks just as much as a good belly rub.
She came to us alongside Frank, but it’s clear both would thrive better in separate homes where they can each get the attention they deserve.
Peggy’s got a playful streak and would suit a family that enjoys getting out and about – just no small kids, as she doesn’t always realise how big she is!
She’s affectionate, fun, and ready for a fresh start. If you’re looking for a loving bulldog with a bit of spark, Peggy’s your girl.
